Wardrobe Wilderness is a true story, built on feeling.

The feeling that arrives before the outfit does — that small jolt just before you get dressed. The quiet confidence of a look that tells your truth. The idea that what we wear is never neutral; it’s a visible translation of whatever’s going on inside: a private joy, a soft rebellion, that much needed armour, a change of mood or a transition made tangible.

First conceived as a tiny stall in Manchester, it became a life lived through rails and market mornings across Dublin, culminating in a 2018 weekend residency at Blackrock Market. For years it ran alongside my professional career — part passion project, part sanity-saving ritual — a fashion thread through a full life and 20+ years on the retail shopfloor. Now, I’m officially back on it.

At it's core, it’s also a confession… as clearly i’ve accumulated ALOT.

From Primark to Prada. Size 8 to 18. A wardrobe that holds chapters, moods, eras, impulses, reinventions — fashion faux pas (retrospectively) and forever pieces (when they still fit)! It’s proof that style doesn’t fit neatly in one bracket. It’s multiplicity and contradiction; it’s poetic and in my case occasionally practical. It’s the freedom to change your mind, and the courage to be seen as you are.

Whilst I have donated plenty over the years, I am equally devoted to the charity shop hunt— not for perfection, but for that heart-pounding possibility, but truthfully I am happy to shop anywhere.  So, here I am, unpacking a lifetime shopping habit and editing it into a curated space that keeps great clothing in motion. This isn’t just resale; it’s return — a circular way of dressing that gives pieces longer lives and gives something back too, with a percentage of every sale donated to a good cause.

If fashion fuels your soul and personal style is your compass, you’re in the right place. Sign up for my monthly musings and shop impeccable preloved, vintage, designer and new clothing & accessories — pieces with personality, ready for their next chapter.
